Short and simple.

Fikar is free. There is nothing to buy, nothing to subscribe to and nobody to sign up with.

Free, and provided as is. Made with care, but with no warranty of any kind.

Fikar reminds you. It cannot make you. The app tells you to drink water, eat and sleep. Whether any of that happens depends entirely on you, as your real mother will confirm.

Use it on as many of your own computers as you like. Please do not redistribute modified builds as if they were official.

What it needs. macOS 13 or later on Apple Silicon, or Windows 10 and 11. Under A few megabytes either way. It writes one settings file and nothing else.

Removing Fikar completely, on Mac

Quit Fikar from the menu bar, then run these in Terminal. This leaves nothing behind anywhere on the machine.

rm -rf /Applications/Fikar.app
defaults delete app.fikar.mac 2>/dev/null
rm -rf ~/Library/Application\ Support/Fikar
rm -f ~/Library/Preferences/app.fikar.mac.plist
rm -rf ~/Library/Caches/app.fikar.mac
rm -rf ~/Library/Saved\ Application\ State/app.fikar.mac.savedState

Removing Fikar completely, on Windows

Easiest: right click the app, or its tray icon, and choose Uninstall Fikar. That removes the app, the autostart entry and every setting. By hand, in PowerShell:

taskkill /IM Fikar.exe /F
Remove-Item -Recurse -Force "$env:LOCALAPPDATA\Fikar"
Remove-Item -Recurse -Force "$env:APPDATA\Fikar"
reg delete "HKCU\Software\Fikar" /f
reg delete "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run" /v Fikar /f
